Google New Favicon ... What da hell is this??

I'm a big fan of Google in general. Since I was taking my first steps into the web and I felt in love with gogo (Google) because it's the only company that thinks more about what users need, rather than what they need.

Recently, Google has launched their new Favicon (the small favorite icon that appears near to the site address in your browser toolbar). I just hate it from the first sight, I must admit it.

After doing some research I found that I'm not the only one who didn't like the new favicon of Google; you can check a big list here. Also when my friend and work partner Amr asked me yesterday morning if Google has changed its favicon or is it because of a plug-in he installed! Unfortunately it's the new one for Google.

In the practical life, any change that will occur to something should come with some improvements in a way or another. Actually I don't know exactly based on what did Google make this change. They used to look like (The big G) not (The small g) which is totally another approach for people inside Google. I thought that it was linkdev who made this design :P

So what do you think about it yourself? Do you like it? Have you noticed it by yourself?
